MVC Resources is a HR consulting firm that focuses on finding people with right talent and skills gap for the needs of an organization. Like any other up-and-coming boutique firm, they are no strangers to heavy reliance on laborious manual work and decentralized databases

This resulted in the inefficiency of work, redundancy, and overall perception of their trustworthiness. With Zoho Recruit in place to sort out their resourcing processes coupled with heavy customization to meet their need to keep track of the revenue, their business is now better than ever in terms of the manpower cost and increasing their sales.

Company Background

MVC Resources is an HR consulting firm that focuses mainly on finding people who have the right talents and skills that organizations need. MVC Resources has been catering to clients from both local and global since its establishment and is committed to delivering high-quality solutions to their clients.

MVC Resources specializes in the recruitment, management, and provision of skilled personnel to its clients, although it also provides five other services: Executive Search, HR Technology, Talent Management, Talent Profiling, and Payroll Outsourcing. The company's guiding principles, including "More with less," "Velocity Driven," and "Customer Focus" (MVC) have been their north star in providing trustworthy, quality and valuable services to their clients.

The Challenge

Previously, MVC Resources relied their day-to day task exporting and importing the candidates and other resources with just using Excel spreadsheet. This process involved manually entering data into the spreadsheets and then importing the information into the their recruitment system. Similarly, they also had been manually tracking job openings and the hiring process with spreadsheets, emails, and paper-based documents. 

All the methods given was time-consuming and error-prone, making it difficult for them to keep track of critical information and progress. In addition, the billing process was manual, involving paper invoices and manual calculations. This method was not only inefficient, but it was also prone to errors, which could result in late payments or inaccuracies in the company's financial records.

Finding the Solution

One of the main solutions we as Aplikasi suggesting was to customize the billing process in Zoho Recruit. By doing so, we aimed to streamline the billing process and make it easier for the company to generate invoices for every successful job placement.

Next, we proposed setting up a job dashboard career site, which would be a platform for the company to manage all their job openings, track applicants, and communicate with candidates. This platform would help to centralize the recruitment process, making it easier for the company to manage all aspects of the hiring process from a single location.

We also suggested integrating the company's job openings with social media platforms to expand their reach and attract more candidates. This feature would enable the company to post job openings on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, which can be a powerful tool for recruitment.

We proposed implementing resume autofill features, which would enable candidates to submit their resumes quickly and easily, without having to manually enter their information. This feature would help to save time for both the company and the candidates.

Overall, we proposed these solutions to help streamline the recruitment process, reduce errors, and improve efficiency for the company. The implementation through Aplikasi aimed to provide these solutions and make the recruitment process more efficient and effective.

Implementations & Results

The implementation that Aplikasi did was aimed at solving their recruitment and billing problems. We implemented Zoho Recruit, which is an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that automates the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection and tracking. 

This system helps the company to manage its recruitment process more efficiently, reducing the manual workload and enabling them to focus on finding the right candidates. By doing so, we were able to streamline the billing process and make it easier for the company to generate invoices for every successful job placement.

We also set up the job dashboard career site, which is a platform where the company can manage all their job openings, track applicants, and communicate with candidates. This platform helps to centralize the recruitment process, making it easier for the company to manage all aspects of the hiring process from a single location.

Additionally, we implemented integration with social media platforms for job openings, which helps to expand the reach of the job postings and attract more candidates. This feature enables the company to post job openings on all their social media platforms, especially on Linkedin. This feature enables the company to reach a wider audience of potential candidates and attract more qualified applicants.

As said, we also implemented resume autofill features, which enable candidates to submit their resumes quickly and easily, without having to manually enter their information. This feature helps to save time for both the company and also the candidates that applied for the job openings. Overall, the implementation we did for the company through Aplikasi helped to streamline their recruitment process, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.

Lastly, we also provided training for their staff on how to use Zoho Recruit, the customized ATS we implemented for them. The purpose of the training is to help the staff to fully understand and utilize the features of the system efficiently.
