Kecoh Twitter dan Tiktok sekarang bercerita tentang "copyright squareshawl" satu jenama tudung ni. Kisahnya, pengasas tudung tersebut telah memberi amaran kepada orang ramai supaya jangan meniru potongan tudung dia tu. Dia mendakwa bentuk potongan tudung tersebut telah di"copyright" oleh jenama dia.

Tapi netizen pulak cakap yang 'style' potongan atau bentuk tudung tersebut dah lama dah pun ada dalam pasaran. Persoalannya, kenapa nak copyright? Wajar ke copyright? Yang paling penting valid ke copyright dia tu??? Ada jugak sesetengah netizen yang mengatakan patutnya perkataan yang digunakan adalah paten, bukan hakcipta. Eh betul ke?

Skim, aturan atau kaedah bagi menjalankan perniagaan, melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan mental semata-mata atau bermain apa-apa permainan;
Kaedah-kaedah merawat tubuh manusia atau binatang melalui pembedahan atau terapi, dan kaedah-kaedah diagnosis yang dilakukan kepada tubuh manusia atau binatang.

Maklumat tambahan tentang hakcipta pula, dari segi perlindungan (hakcipta), bagi karya sastera, seni dan muzik tempoh perlindungan adalah semasa hayat pencipta dan 50 tahun selepas kematiannya. Bagi karya rakaman bunyi, filem dan siaran pula, perlindungan adalah selama 50 tahun selepas tarikh ia diterbitkan.
